When you switch on the unit, you’ll notice the screen displays digital input 3. This means the water level is low in the tank. You can double-check this by looking inside, and you’ll see in this case that the water level is too low and that the two lower probes aren’t submerged in water.

You’ll also notice that the probe relay, if set correctly, will have the green light on and the orange light off in low water circumstances. You’ll need to put more water in the tank to solve this issue.

It’s worth noting if your unit is displaying digital input 3, but the probe indicator light is showing orange and you know there isn’t water in the tank, you need to check your probe settings. Please watch our separate video on how to do this.
