PROJECT CHALLENGE
The requirement for booster sets was established late in the project and very close to completion. At this stage, the development was built and all mechanical plant space was fully allocated. The contractors had to meet minimum storage requirements and boosted cold water duties within the minimal space available.
PROJECT SOLUTION
The Dutypoint slimline booster set was an ideal solution, meaning that the triple pump booster set could be installed alongside an internally flanged 4,250-litre actual capacity tank within a new space allocation of 1790mm width x 2500mm length.
Using the brief the client provided, Dutypoint selected the correct size Slimline booster and a 3m tall internally flanged tank.
The unique design of the slimline booster set (with its 352mm dimension) allows for the booster set to be installed up against a building or tank wall, as there is no requirement for maintenance clearances at the back.
