An NHS practice under pressure needed a solution from a specialist.

A picture of health.

PROJECT SUMMARY

An NHS practice in Central London was in urgent need of an upgrade to their domestic water supply. Water is an essential resource for any medical facility and provides key welfare and cleaning support for staff and patients. The mechanical contractor on the project who was in charge of the upgrade approached Dutypoint to provide an urgent solution: a cold water booster set that needed to be implemented within a tight timeframe to help the site cope with its demand.

PROJECT CHALLENGE

In the past year, medical facilities all over the world have experienced pressure and demand unlike any other in recent history. The importance of access to water to support sanitisation and hygiene has been highlighted more than ever and it’s unarguably important that all medical facilities have adequate facilities and utilities to keep the public and staff safe and able to work efficiently.

The general practice in Central London that required a Dutypoint solution was one of the many NHS properties put under extreme pressure with the volume of patients needing attention.

PROJECT SOLUTION

Due to its availability, the Dutypoint VT range was an instant choice. However, due to importing delays from Europe (as a result of new Brexit laws), there were unforeseen delays. This prevented Dutypoint from getting hold of the pumps that our team had planned to use, but Dutypoint always rise to it and we came up with another equally great solution for the NHS practice. We carefully evaluated our in-stock pump range and selected another option. The pump was delivered to the client to meet the critical date that had been specified.
